Our Story
Our mission is to care for every child in need within our reach.
The Every Child foster care and adoption ministry is a collaborative effort of multiple churches dedicated to ensuring that all children and families in crisis have repeated opportunities to witness the redeeming power of Christ through both our words and actions. We accomplish our mission through establishing training programs (including trauma-informed), support groups, care-share technology (EC CarePortal), and creating community connections between those who have a need and those that have something to give.
We officially launched on Father’s Day Sunday, June 19th, 2011 at a local church in Getzville, New York. From that simple launch of just a couple of churches and one main foster care agency our ministry has grown into a full network of volunteers and professionals all coming together to help meet the needs of the people in our communities and churches.
While utilizing the Every Child CarePortal, a technology connecting platform, a bridge is created to connect the needs of hurting children and families in the local community with community members, including the local church, that can help with the needs in real-time. This bridge opens the door to share the full expression of the Gospel through word and action.
Grateful for it’s roots of beginning in the local church a new season unfolded. On July 1, 2022 Every Child became a 501(c)(3) following its official non-profit status in November 2022. In this new season Every Child is excited to see where God will grow the ministry, families, and others impacted by it.
