Since 2011, we have helped meet the tangible needs of families and children in crisis. In order for us to keep meeting the ever-growing need requests we receive, we implemented a new platform called CarePortal. This technological platform, EC’s CarePortal, allows us to connect a network of caring people in churches from the 8 counties of WNY to the vetted, physical needs of families in their community. Nationwide, CarePortal has helped meet both the tangible and relational needs of over 110,000 children through the caring response of more than 3,000 response teams.
By signing up as an individual, church leader, community champion, or child serving professional you can help prevent a child from entering the foster care system by viewing and responding to need requests as you are able to. When foster care intervention is required, CarePortal also supports the foster family and workers who care for these children. To get started, simply select an option from below.
